I bought a pair of Grado headphones- seller was nice and easy to deal with. However, the headphones smelled musty and a little sweaty, like it's been in storage with mothballs for way too long. I didn't notice it when I checked it for sound. The seller is not receptive to refunds, even though the complete status of the product was not completely accurate. He did include details for where I could get replacement ear covers - but that costs 19 bucks - I might as well get new ones.
Because I was not aware of any such smell at the time of transaction, no description as such had been included. With regards to the refund, Carousell does not have a seller refund policy. That said, as with all my other transactions, there was an opportunity for the buyer to inspect the product for satisfactory quality and defects if any. Further, although I was not obliged in any way to rectify the situation, I took the liberty to call up several shops to find if they sell replacement ear cups.
