Buyer asked to reserve the item but wanted to deal from 2 days to a week. Asked for small deposit but did not reply. Out of goodwill I hold onto the item reserved for him without chasing for the deposit anymore.Came back after a week saying he got another deal. So basically waste of my time. Hope that you guys can be caution when dealing with him especially when he asked to push the timeline back.

I asked to reserve an item a couple of days before CNY 2021 and seller requested that an offer to be made. Seller insisted on a deposit which I’m not comfortable with due to the high number of cyber crimes. Once, my “deposit” of $80 was scammed for a purchase of an Apple iPad. Deposited via PayLah, police report made but funds couldn’t be recovered. Therefore, my hesitance of leaving a deposit. Seller should indicate on product listing that deposit is necessary. What a waste of my time.
